Day 1:  Ha Noi  Challenging to  Nghia Lo ( Yen bai )
Pick up at your hotel in  Ha Noi at 7:30AM you will be met up with our team at your hotel in Hanoi. Depart for Nghia Lo - Yen Bai. Stops will be made en route for you to cycle. Our cycling is a spectacular ride on back roads that take us to Nghia Lo through a terrain of tea plantations, lush forests, rice fields, and gum trees. The town sits on a mountain ridge overlooking the Red and Black River and is home to the Thai, Nung, Hmong, La Ha, and Ma peoples. Stay in Nghia Lo hotel.

Total Distance: 180 Km

Biking Distance: 100 Km ( 20 km road flat, 80 km mountain 4 to 10 % )

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Accommodation: Local Hotel in Nghia Lo

Transportation: Support Bus and Truck

Day 2 : Nghia Lo Challenging to Tu Le – Mu Cang Chai – Than Uyen

Breakfast, Today we will tough cycle out of Nghia Lo passing large white limestone mountains as we explore the “Real Vietnam”.  Following the rolling road, to end the day in Tu Le. Leaving Tu Le we travel through rugged terrain with dense vegetation and come into contact with the Black Hmong and the mysterious White Tay people, who are famed for their folk music, poems, and songs. The road winds down out of the hills and we descend into the valley to end the day at Than Uyen.

Biking Distance: 100 Km ( 10 km road flat, 90 km mountain 5 to 12 % )

Day 3 : Than Uyen Tough to Sapa

From Than Uyen we begin with a gentle 30km ascent to ride along with the Hoang Lien Son mountain range through magnificent landscape. Then, from Binh Lu Junction there is another hard ascent of 30 km to the top of the Tram Ton Pass, on our way to Sa Pa. We stop on route to visit the “silver waterfall”, before descending into Sapa for the final 15kms.

Day 4 : Sapa Loop To Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages

After breakfast and this morning, we ride to get those legs moving. We cycle from the hotel for 4 km on a tarmac road and branch off at Lao Chai junction to cycle downhill on a jeep track to a Black Hmong village. We ride 2 km of single track past rice paddies. When we reach Ta Van village, home to the Red Dzao people, we can stroll around the village and learn about their unique culture and building style before having lunch. We continue our cycle journey to Thanh Kim village, riding on gentle hills and a tarmac road. The village is situated in a high mountain area, and from the Thanh Kim, we have panoramic views of the Ban Ho valley. Depending on time and energy levels, we can ride back up to Sapa or transfer back,

Afternoon free for relaxing in beautiful Sapa . Explore dinner on your own.

Biking Distance: 25 Km ( mountain  tough 4 to 13 % )

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, ( Explore dinner by  your own – so many restaurant in Sapa )

Day 5: Sapa – Luc Yen. 180Km 

8:00 Pick up from your hotel in Sapa and ride from Sapa to Luc Yen is quite easy and enjoyable. We can start the day at 8Am, hit the 30 km road down to Lao Cai where we can see China from Vietnam, and then keep riding on the beautiful and quiet big road No 70. And then make a turn to small country road to Luc Yen – a nice village of the Tay people who live in stilted-houses between green palm trees.

Dinner and stay with the Tay- Home stay.

Biking Distance : 80 -100 km

Day 6 : Luc Yen – Vu Linh. 80Km

The road from Luc Yen to Vu Linh is quite flat. The beautiful ride today should be the most enjoyable, after saying good bye to the family, we will ride slowly on the small country road with the green mountain and rice paddy fields on two sides. We can stop somewhere to visit several nice villages of the Dzao and Tay on the way. Vu Linh – the village located on the bank of Thac Ba lake .
Dinner and stay with the Dzao people – Home stay.

Biking Distance : 80 km

Day 7 : Vu Linh – Hanoi

We will do the best to avoid the main busy road for as long as possible . we will ride longer to get to road No2B which there is less traffics on. Then hit the road down to Red River Delta. A mixture of both challenging track and glorious sealed road all the way back to Hanoi.
Be at Hanoi before rush hours and end the best cycling tour in north Vietnam safely!
